Abstract
- The article presents a guide for teaching climate-controlled landscape evolution in a region that is tectonically active. Topics include the physical and geologic setting of Arroyo Seco in Los Angeles, California, its faulting history, and geologic map and strath terrace formation. Also discussed are the changes in Arroyo Seco's landscape due to climate change and the effects of active tectonics.
