Abstract
- The article reports that the legislation introduced in the California Assembly would need licensed health care practitioners to screen mothers for mental health conditions at least once during pregnancy and once during the postpartum period. The case management program would have to meet standards and would need plans and insurers to notify providers of the availability of the program.
