An Extended Car‐Following Model With Consideration of the Driver's Memory and Control Strategy.

Abstract: Taking account of the effect of the driver's memory, an extended car‐following model is proposed in this paper. A control signal including the velocity contrast of considered car and the following car is taken into account in this extended model.
