Abstract
- The current interpretation of the works of Friedrich Nietzsche raises a question that is usually not so dramatic in explaining or commenting on other philosophical works. How to read, to reinterpret Nietzsche's intellectual legacy. Should we apply a completely standard method of academic philosophy interpretation, or, conversely, play the studied philosopher's (Nietzsche's) game, accede to his rules and, therefore, in a sense, let Nietzsche be read by Nietzsche himself? The building blocks of the modern epoch, and therefore modern philosophy include concepts of autonomy of a subject, the market, metaphysics of presence, clarity of speech, and emancipation. The postmodern philosophical theory does not disprove these key concepts; it subjects them to nagging scepticism, mocks them, ironizes them, creates another branches of the theory with inflationary effect, however, all these approaches do not draw it closer to Nietzsche. At present, reading Nietzsche's text thus leads to a simple statement: Nietzsche is the predecessor of a new style of thinking, perceiving and writing, while postmodernism certainly is not. Therefore, it would be misplaced to use the adjective postmodern in this context. The text analyses the fact that the essential objective and the content of Nietzsche's thinking does not identify with the trajectory of the postmodern discourse. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
