Abstract

The article reports on the 2016 "Study of Faculty Worklife at UW-Madison" paper survey used by the Women in Science and Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI) to promote cultural change. Study highlights include increase in tenured and tenure-track faculty feeling respected by students, staff, and their chairpersons, the impact of budget cuts on faculty morale, adjustment of WISELI's workshops based on study waves and workshop evaluations.
