The article presents information about various congresses and meetings in the field of social science. The Bureau of Social Science Research, has established a summer fellowship program for training in survey research techniques. Recent graduates in the social sciences who intend to continue with graduate study in the field are being offered practical experience in the applications of research methods. The Population Council is offering about twenty-five fellowships for study in population at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels to qualified persons from any country, with particular consideration given to those from economically underdeveloped areas. The Social Science Research Council invites inquiries and requests for the detailed announcement of its annual fellowship and grant research programs including predoctoral and postdoctoral training, faculty research, and grants-in-aid. International Conference Travel Grants will again be offered to American social scientists for travel to Certain meetings outside North America.
