Abstract

The article focuses on the way to measure sociation. To measure sociation, the degree of interaction in a group, the kind and intensity of attractions and repulsions among persons in a group must first be determined. Sociation is defined as the average of units of intensity of all the interpersonal attitudes in a group plus or minus the average deviation of the intensities of attitudes. Attitudes ranging from one unit of intensity of attraction to one unit of intensity of repulsion can be shown graphically.
