Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 48-year-old Japanese woman who is presented with red nodules in atrophic plaque area of chest wall. She was diagnosed with atrophic dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) through immunohistochemical staining and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Wide excision and split-thickness skin grafts were conducted to treat the patient.
