Abstract
- The article reports that liquid crystal display (LCD) computers with DisplayHDR certification will be featured at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2018 to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Topics include the LCD-monitor certification tiers launched by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) for the adoption of high dynamic range (HDR) in computers, the role of DisplayHDR v1.0 criteria mandate, and the plan of VESA to launch an automated testing tool for monitors.
