Abstract

The article discusses a study which investigated 14 patients who developed rash while taking ibrutinib for a haematological malignancy at the Stanford Cancer Center. It describes distinct rash subtypes that were observed, including a non-palpable, largely asymptomatic petechial rash. Information is also presented on management of the palpable rash, including the use of topical corticosteroids and oral antihistamines.
