Abstract

The article discusses the guidelines used for the management of hypotension with vasopressors during caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia. It mentions that hypotension following combined or spinal spinal epidural anaesthesia at caesarean section causes both maternal and fetal/neonatal adverse effects. It also mentions that hypotension is a common consequence of the sympathetic vasomotor block caused by spinal anaesthesia.
