This article is based on archival research on the records of the Ministry of Culture and Arts at the Archive of Modern Acts [Archiwum Akt Nowych] in Warsaw. Budrowska discovered and described hitherto unknown materials, including a personal questionnaire and a letter written by Julian Kawalec, attached to which is the cycle Czary i praca [Spells and Work], poetic juvenilia that are interesting from an artistic point of view. Budrowska concludes that early in his career, Kawalec expressed himself creatively through both prose and poetry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
