Abstract
- An editorial is presented which discusses event held at World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases founded to coincide with shaping and creation of the modern framework of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). It states that NTDs played important role in promoting access to NTD medicines and treatments. It mentions impact of development of vaccines and biocides over NTDs.
