- The article profiles Antoinette Emily Dyce, who was known as Mrs. Danford who discovered the Xiphion danfordiae also known as Iris danfordiae in 1876. Topics discussed include the traditional form of address for a married woman in Victorian times, Dyce's marriage to barrister-at-law Charles G.
