Abstract

Thermostimulated luminescence (TSL) of Al<subscript>5</subscript>O<subscript>6</subscript>N:Ce<superscript>3+</superscript> and Al<subscript>5</subscript>O<subscript>6</subscript>N:Eu<superscript>2+</superscript> with various dopant concentration has been investigated. Low-temperature TSL peaks in the range 300-500 K is observed. TSL curves approximated by sum of calculated curves with general-order kinetics. TSL intensity of samples with optimal dopant concentration (0.1 and 0.4 at. % for Ce<superscript>3+</superscript> and Eu<superscript>2+</superscript> respectively) is comparable with one of anion-defective corundum radiation detectors (TLD-500).
