Abstract

The article explores the capacity building and hydrological modeling in Namibia. Topics mentioned include the importance of the introduction of a hydrological modeling framework in the country on flood forecasting and in capacity building, the development of the Ensemble Framework for Flash Flood Forecasting (EF5) software packages and the need for the activities of capacity building to mature as the users evolve and grow.
