Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 74-year-old man suffering from fatal yellow fever. The patient experienced nausea, myalgia and fever while traveling in Peru and the northern Amazon area where he also suffered from watery diarrhea and abdominal pain. He underwent laboratory examination and diagnosed with acute renal failure, thrombocytopenia and leukopenia.
