GUEST EDITORS' INTRODUCTION: CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

The article presents an introduction to the June, 1990 Summer Special Issue by the guest editors of the publication. The issue focuses on the state of theory, methods, and findings in corporate entrepreneurship research. The idea of corporate entrepreneurship was proposed for two major reasons; management personnel have recognized the need for increased entrepreneurial activity in large companies and more research has been focusing on organizational changes within big businesses. The editors say this special issue has been created in an attempt to draw more attention to this aspect of the field.
