Abstract

The article reports on the emergence of the so-called Gen MX, the combination of senior Millennials and Generation Xers, as important banking consumers. It cites the common characteristics of the two consumer groups in terms of income, value in relationships and life events. It also examines the opportunities posed by such consumer groups and their implications for banks.
