Abstract

The article discusses the development of coaxial-cavity longer-pulse gyrotron at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. Topics discussed include the significance of gyrotron in power generation, an overview on the construction of the modular coaxial-cavity tube and notes the development of Inverse Magnetron Injection Gun in increasing output power of gyrotrons.
