Abstract

Many pervasive computing courses don't require a textbook. Instead, a variety of papers are given as assigned reading. Although there are advantages to using papers for reading assignments, there are disadvantages as well. With each course, instructors must curate their own list of important papers, and students don't have the benefit of a well-planned book, which ties together topics systematically. In light of this, Andrew Kun reviews nine books that might be a good match for pervasive computing courses. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
