Abstract
- In this paper the ring F<subscript>2</subscript>[u,v]/<subscript><u³,v²,u.v></subscript>where u³ = 0, v² = 0, u.v = v.u = 0 is defined and (1 + v)-constacyclic codes over this ring are studied. It is shown that the Gray image of (1 + v)-constacyclic codes with odd order over the ring F<subscript>2</subscript>[u,v]/<subscript><u³,v²,u.v></subscript> is a cyclic code over the ring F<subscript>2</subscript>[u]/<subscript><u³></subscript> where u³ = 0. Also there is a quasicyclic code of index 2 over the binary field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
