Foreword: The Proceedings of the XVII EBL--17th Brazilian Logic Conference, 2014: A preface.

The article discusses the proceedings of the 17th Brazilian Logic Conference 2014 held on the premises of the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC) in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro from April 7-11, 2014. Information about the keynote speakers and the theme for the topics which included Algebraic Logic, Foundations of Mathematics, and Set Theory and Theory of Computation are presented. An introduction in which the editor discusses various topics within the issue is also presented.
