Status of Revision of the VDE-AR-N 4105 Application Rule for the Connection of Distributed Generation to Low Voltage Networks.

The existing VDE-AR-N 4105 application rule for the connection of distributed generation has set an early standard for a better integration of distributed energy resources and is currently being revised. The revision process has started and involves key adaptation for requirements such as voltage stability and low voltage stability contribution. VDE∣FNN has published a roadmap and initiated studies to receive the necessary knowledge for the revision.
