¿NEGAR O REESCRIBIR LA HISPANIDAD? LOS NACIONALISMOS SUBESTATALES IBÉRICOS Y AMÉRICA LATINA, 1898-1936.

This article discusses the concept of sub-state nationalism in Spain and in Latin America during the period from 1898-1936. The author comments on the idea of Hispanism or Hispanic identity, and describes the contribution of liberalism and its policies to nationalism. The weakening of the Spanish empire at the turn of the century is also explored.
