Abdul Kadir Haji Din – an academic biography.

A biography of Abdul Kadir Haji Din, the professor at the Faculty of Tourism Management in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), is presented. He was born in Kampung Kunluang, Asun, Kedah near the Malaysia-Thai border on July 5, 1949 and studied at Sekolah Melayu Binjal. Particular focus is given to his academic background including teacher at the National University of Malaysia (UKM), his contributions in journals of tourism, and conducting conferences on the tourism industry of Malaysia.
