Abstract

In this paper, we discuss an implementation method to get high brightness and curved BLU. For 8.0inch TFT-LCD, by using the high gain film structure, particular structure surface LGP & high efficiency LED, driving with higher current, we achieve the high brightness backlight unit (BLU), which gets the brightness of 38000nit with DBEF (a reflection type polarizing film); In this paper, we also introduce a particular design, which is consist of radiating and curved structure. Radius of outer convex surface is 800milimeter, leading to the horizon angle of rear mirror expanding by about 187%, so it realizes the function of wide view mirror. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
