Abstract
- After several states passed legislation permitting recreational use of marijuana, college campuses in those states and beyond felt the impact. Private and public colleges and universities must rethink how they communicate community standards, educate students and staff, and address conduct violations, while clarifying mixed messages stemming from conflicting state and federal laws and the fluid environment of the emerging pot industry.
