Abstract

The article discusses the simultaneous simulation method employed by clinical educators to improve the fidelity of simulation, which is used to train medical trainees in situations that resemble real-world patient encounters. According to the author, simultaneous simulation method produces time dilation. This time dilation occurs through multitasking, an increase in cognitive loads and intentional binding.
