Abstract

The article focuses on the establishment of the Implementing GeNomics In praTticE (IGNITE) network or Pharmacogenetics Working Group which aim to support the investigation and development of genomic medicine practice models. Topics discussed include the use of pharmacogenetic testing in assisting prescribing decisions, CYP2C19 genotyping for prediction of clopidogrel response, and guide antiplatelet therapy for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
