Abstract

The article focuses findings of a study on role of functional inflammatory profiles in distinguishing myelin-reactive T cells from patients with multiple sclerosis. It states that libraries derived from the CCR6+ T cells from patients with MS exhibited significantly enhanced production of interferon gamma, and mentions that transcriptomes of myelin-specific CCR6+ T cells from patients with MS were distinct. It infers that myelin-reactive T cells may act to limit disease progression.
