Abstract: The article presents profiles of the various individuals who are included on the Pioneers section of the journal's 100 Most Influential People in the World list for 2017. Actor, rap musician, and activist Riz Ahmed is addressed, along with climate-change scientist Guus Velders and transgender rights activist Gavin Grimm. Boston, Massachusetts-based chef Barbara Lynch is assessed, along with chief executive officer Hamdi Ulukaya who oversees the Agro-Farma Inc. (Chobani) yogurt company.
