Abstract

The article describes a case of nonsexually acquired genital ulcers or Lipschüutz ulcers (LU) in a 79-year-old healthy woman. The patient presented with acute genital lesions on the labia majora which were treated with fomentations and topical fusidic acid three times a day. Though its etiology is still unknown, LU has been related to Epstein-Barr virus infection, measles, influenza and Lyme disease.
