Abstract

The article presents several studies which focused on neurosurgery. Topics discussed include the computed tomography (CT) imaging analysis of the characteristics of common spine metastases, treatment of low back pain using surgery, and the effects of general anesthesia and combined general/epidural anesthesia during elective lumbar spine disc surgery. Also mentioned is the use of lumbar decompression for patients with lumbar spinal stenosis.
