Abstract

The article describes the case of a 26-year-old women who undergone an isolated small bowel transplant when she was 6 weeks pregnant. Topics discussed include the medical history of the woman, the probable acute transplant rejection experienced by the woman which was treated with methylprednisolone, and the safety in pregnancy following solid organ transplant.
