Abstract
- The article discusses the possible outcomes of the anticipated military operation of Turkey to take control of the Syrian city of Raqqah in 2017 which was the capital of the Islamic State terrorists. Turkish officials have objected the involvement of Syrian People's Protection Units (YPG) in Raqqah's capture which could lead to Turkish-YPG conflict.
