Single-dose intravenous iron infusion versus red blood cell transfusion for the treatment of severe postpartum anaemia: a randomized controlled pilot study.

The article discusses the Danish randomized controlled pilot study of postpartum anemia treatment through red blood cell transfusions and single dose intravenous iron injections. The results of the aforementioned anemia treatments in women patients, including through offering several charts on the treatment, are discussed.
