Welsh lessons from Wells.

Presents a report on predictions of Alan Wells, Head of Great Britain-based Basic Skills Agency on Welsh literacy during the annual conference of the agency last year as of January 2004. According to Wells the literacy movement has been one of the most sustained and successful national campaigns in the recent history of education. It is likely to meet the targets set for it by the government of adult learning achievements by the end of next year. According to Alan Wells the Agency needs to change its style and strategy to meet the longer-term goal of eradicating illiteracy from the country.
