Abstract: The article offers information on measurement of tumors using luminescent oxygen channeling immunoassays (LOCI™)-based assays and electrochemiluminiscent immunoassays (ECLIA). Topics discussed include determination of prostate cancer using prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and free PSA (fPSA); use of chemiluminescence immunoassay in LOCI™ technology; and correlations between α-fetoprotein (AFP), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA).
