Abstract
- The article reports on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) which is in search for a new chief information officer to replace Patrick Hadley's retirement on March 2017. Discussed is Hadley's additional role to ABS which is as chief information security officer (CISO) and general manager of its Technology Services Division. It states that the bureau's core statistical business processes and information technology were well overdue for an upgrade.
