Abstract

The article reports on a partnership of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide training and resources to infectious disease doctors to respond to hospital outbreaks and public health emergencies. It also presents the views of Louise Dembry, president of Board of Trustees of SHEA, related to the same.
