Abstract

The article provides recommendations for good practice that are based on the experiences of service users whose behaviour is challenging or those with intellectual disabilities. Topics include the concepts of challenging behaviour within the framework of positive behaviour support (PBS), service user experience within care services, and overall recommendations for services of people with intellectual disabilities.
