Abstract

The article presents a mega- and meta-analyses of data from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The meta-analysis showed that adult patients had larger pallidum volumes and smaller hippocampal volumes compared with adult controls. It revealed that the hippocampus and pallidum seem to be of significance in adult OCD, while the thalamus appears to be key in pediatric OCD.
