Abstract
- The article cites case studies related to flare-up reaction from para-amino-diphenylamine. 10 patients developed a flare-up reaction after 10 to 15 days induced by para-amino-diphenylamine. A biopsy was taken of the reaction. Each sample was divided into 2 parts, one was processed for routine histology and the other sectioned in a cryostat employing the ABC technique and applying monoclonal antibodies to characterize lymphoid and reticular cell lines. The results of the test showed that the epidermis was infiltrated with mononuclear cells and showed slight spongiosis.
