Abstract

The article reports on a mentoring program initiated by the group the American Economic Association's Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP) known as the CSWEP Mentoring Program (CeMENT), which found in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that mentoring female assistant professors conducted by other professional women played a significant role in the success of women assistant professors.
