Abstract
- The article presents a case study which reveals how the 'one-child policy' of Chinese Government changes the condition of an aging society, radically modified the structure of the population, and created eldercare a more difficult task. It also mentions increase in the suicide rates among older people in China and Chinese governmental expenditures on healthcare.
