A comparative study of the antacid effect of raw spinach juice and spinach extract in an artificial stomach model.

The article focuses on a study for comparison of antacid effect related with raw juice of Spinacia oleracea (spinach) along with natural antioxidant mixture of spinach's methanolic extract for an artificial stomach model. It states significance of stomach mucosa in maintenance of optimal functions along with usage of antacid in treatment of hyperacidity. It mentions disadvantage for neutralization of antacids leads to increment in secretion of gastric acid in the body.
