Abstract
- The article discusses the Moghul Emperor Shah Alam II and the relevance of his blindness with respect to ghazal creation. It is suggested that all his ghazals reveal his sufferings and the book by author Syed Altaf Ali Barelvi presents the act of Shah's former minister Ghulam Qadir Rohilla. Also included are ghazals by Shah, its translations, and his involvement in literature.
