NEW LOCALS: OVERCOMING INTEGRATION BARRIERS WITH MOBILE INFORMAL AND GAMIFIED LEARNING.

The article describes a study focused on integration of refugee and migrant teenagers to a German society. The research was done in 2015-2016 by a group of students from the University of Bremen, Digital Media Department. The central issue in this research is the migration crisis in Europe that reveals many challenges one of which is the question of newcomers' adaptation to the local society and culture. The paper contains results of a literature analysis, state of the art projects and qualitative interviews.
