Abstract

The article reports that the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have decided to not file charges against defense contractor Harris Corp. for the alleged violation of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). The government probes against the company has followed its acquisition of information technology solutions provider Carefx and its subsidiaries in 2011 and the anti-bribery violations committed by its chairman Jun Ping Zhang.
